The Dreadful (2026) lookmovies2 tells the story of a coastal town that hides a dark past. From the beginning, tension rises quickly. At first, a young journalist returns home to cover a simple celebration; however, she soon senses fear in the air. Some townspeople avoid certain streets after sunset. As she searches for answers, strange markings appear on her own door. Because of this, she realizes that someone has marked her as a target. Although the mayor claims that nothing unusual has happened, she discovers old reports about missing families. As a result, she decides to work with her estranged brother. Together, they investigate the abandoned lighthouse on the cliff. Inside, they hear recordings of secret rituals. Meanwhile, shadows move along the beach, and therefore they know someone watches them. While she appears calm in public, she struggles with guilt from her childhood.
